Mount Everest Erg Relay Challenge / Rowing Promotion Event – THIS Sat 8:00 – 11:30 am, Halifax Seaport Farmers Market ( @concept2 ) ( @HfxSeaportMrkt )
We have four teams of intrepid adventurers ready to try to row up Mount Everest (OK – row a distance that is the same as the height of Mount Everest – 8,848 metres!). This is going to be a great event.
Come out and cheer these ergineers as they struggle to the Summit! The one race, 4 teams of 4 racing in a relay format, starts at 9:00 am.
We are also going to have promotional material to promote HRC programs and rowing in general. We will be showing videos and pictures and talking to the public. If you are going to be at the Market stop by and say high (Mount Everest – high – get it :-P). Or if you have some time and want to come out to help promote this wonderful life long fitness activity and sport please do!
