ADULT PROGRAMS

These programs are for adult rowers, 19 or older as of January 1st of the current year.

ADULT DEVELOPMENT

This program is for adult rowers who complete HRC’s Adult Learn-to-Row Class in the current season or who completed HRC’s Learn-to-Row program in the previous rowing season but did not register to row with HRC after finishing your classes.

After completing HRC’s Adult Learn-to-Row class, you can continue to improve your rowing technique and boat handling skills while rowing with other first year rowers in the Adult Development Rowing Program. Coaches will help you improve your technique and meet your rowing/fitness goals.

Adult Development Rowers are encouraged to compete in novice events in local regattas.

Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 6-8pm + Saturday & Sunday 8am Row Alls

ADULT FITNESS

This program is for adult rowers who have completed Learn-to-Row prior to the current rowing season, who want to row for fun and fitness while continuing to develop their skills and possibly compete in regattas.

This program will provide you with the opportunity to row several times a week. Coaches will work with you to improve your technique and meet your fitness goals. Less experienced adult fitness rowers will have the opportunity to row with more experienced rowers and row in various types of boats (sweep and sculling).

Schedule: 

Adult Fitness: Mon-Fri 7:30am-9:30am + Monday & Wednesday 6-8pm + 2 Weekend 8am Row Alls
Adult Fitness Evening Only: Monday & Wednesday 6-8pm + Saturday & Sunday 8am Row Alls

ADULT COMPETITIVE

This program is for experienced adult rowers who want to train to compete and train to win. This program will provide competitive rowers with high-level, intensive training programs, and coaching to improve their technique to become an efficient and fast rowers.

This program will provide you with the opportunity to row individually or with a crew of other dedicated athletes up to 7 times a week. Competitive rowers will have a boat priority for regattas and during scheduled training sessions for competitive rowers.

Competitive rowers must compete in at least two regattas during the 2024 on-water season.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:30-7:30am; Saturday & Sunday 8am Row Alls
