Come out and watch the 2015 Boat Races – April 11th 12:30 – 2:00 pm
The 2015 edition of the historic Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race (8+ head races) will take place on April 11, 2015. This year’s event is even more historic because for the first time ever the Women’s and Men’s races will take place on the same river at the same time! (OK not really at the same time but on the same day).
The Women’s race goes at 12:50 pm ADT and the Men’s race at 1:50 pm ADT.
HRC has arranged to have the race shown on the big screen TV at Darrell’s Restaurant, with volume so we can hear the oh-so-important commentary. It is being shown on BBC World News and Darrell’s is one of the only places we know who have this channel.

So plan to come out, see how fit your rowing buddies all are, have a burger or a wrap (yum) and a beverage (local beverages on-tap) and cheer for your favourite crew. We’ll even assign folks to cheer for a specific crew so we can get some good trash talking going!
