Free Come & Try Rowing Event at Halifax Rowing Club – FULL Thanks for you interest!
have you ever wanted to try rowing in an Olympic Class Rowing Shell? Do you love the water and being out side? Have you seen the rowers gracefully rowing on the North West Arm and said, “I’d like to try that some day!!”
If so, plan to attend Halifax Rowing Club’s 2nd Come & Try Rowing event, taking place 8 – 10:15 am on Sunday, July 27, 2014
This event is open to anyone and everyone who is 13 years of age or older. There will be about 10 minutes of safety information / instruction in the club / on the docks, then you will into a shell with one or more experienced rowers and have a chance to row on the beautiful North West Arm for about 30 minutes.
No experience is necessary. There is no charge for this event! There are four, 45 minute sessions and space is limited! The sessions are:
Session 1: 8:00 – 8:45 am
Session 2: 8:30 – 9:15 am
Session 3: 9:00 – 9:45 am
Session 4: 9:30 – 10:15 am
