A keen and slightly crazy group of 21 rowers …
hit the water at 5:30 am on April 25, 2016 to kick of HRC’s 2016 on-water rowing season! It was 0 deg C and there was a skim of ice on the water that seemed to get thicker as the boats headed out from the dock! With the coach boat, with head coach Colm and coach Jack, broke the ice up a bit but we still had to turn and head to the middle of the arm to find ice free water! A cold but fun way to start the year! GO HRC!
