Head to Head Challenge Fundraiser
At the Open House, April 24, 2016
Join us at the Halifax Rowing Club on April 24 and challenge your fellow rowers to a head to head race and help raise funds for the Club! All proceeds towards the purchase of new stroke coaches.
The Rules:
The Challenger picks the distance and puts down $5 (for a sprint) or $10 (for a 1 or 2k race). The Defender can chose to accept the challenge in which case he/she matches the Challenger’s donation or live in shame for the remainder of the season. The winner gets bragging rights, the Club gets new gear and everyone wins!
Additional donations in support of either side and/or third party nominations, are welcome. The coaches will select pairs of suitably matched rowers to get us going!
Challenge your friends to come and try rowing a short distance in a friendly race with a suitably matched rower! Rowers from other clubs are welcome!
