HRC’s Come & Try Rowing Event, which was held on June 1, 2014 was a great success!
Thanks to all of the wonderful HRC members who volunteered their time to help with this event, the very keep folks who came down to the Club to give the great sport / activity of rowing a try, and also because Mother Nature was very kind and we had a perfect morning for it HRC’s first public Come & Try Rowing Event was a great success. We had 30 participants take part in over the 2.25 hour event and everyone seemed to really enjoy their day. The experienced rowers who took the participants out in 4x or 2x shells noted that all of the participants were fast learners and did very well. Some of the 4x boat even had all for rowers rowing at the same time! Pictures and a couple of videos taken during the event can be found here!
